If you are a young person with CFIDS
(YPWC) or the parent or sibling of a YPWC who would like to get in touch with
other YPWCs, parents and siblings, there are several resources you may want to
explore. These links are to web sites outside of The CFIDS Association of
America's Youth site.
The CFS-Y
Discussion List is an electronic support group
for young people with CFS/CFIDS.
CFS-P
offers support to parents of children and
teenagers with chronic fatigue syndrome and related
conditions.
CFS-20s
is a mailing list offering support to people with CFS in their 20s, many of
whom have been ill
for many years.
CFIDS-College
provides
students suffering from CFIDS a way to communicate with others in the same
situation.
About.com's
CFS Chat Room has scheduledand unscheduled chats for PWCs of various
ages, including a special chat forteens with CFIDS.
The CaringParents
Discussion List is a member of The Caring-Family Organization of
Internet support services. Members of CaringParents share their concerns,
questions and stories with other adults who are helping a child cope with illness. To join, send an e-mail

Fun Wishes Pen Pal Connection is a web site that matches pen pals by gender,
age and interests (this is NOT a dating service and is not exclusively for

Offers opportunities for support.
