ABC News links CFS to SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) in a report titled, “‘Alarming’ Mental Problems Seen in SARS Survivors.” It reports on a recent study conducted in Hong Kong that found that, “Forty percent [of SARS survivors] reported some degree of chronic fatigue and 27 percent met diagnostic criteria for chronic fatigue syndrome; people with fatigue symptoms were also more likely than those without them to have psychiatric disorders.” (12/14/09)
