Legal Issues

Some of the most difficult challenges faced by persons with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) are legal and financial in nature. Issues such as figuring out how to pay the bills when you are too ill to work, getting your health insurance company to reimburse your medical expenses or asking your employer for accommodations that will allow you to continue or return to work can place a significant strain on persons with CFS (PWCs) and their families.
