Advocacy Archives: Congress Testimony
Opportunities for advocates to testify
before Congress have been more limited since 9-11 and other events. The CFIDS
Association of America submits requests for opportunities to appear before
appropriations and other relevant Congressional committees and submits written
testimony when not provided the opportunity to appear in person. Members of
Congress, at the request of constituents, may also deliver testimony in the form
of oral statements entered into the official record. This section archives
recent testimony provided to Congress and by Members of Congress.
