Virtual Lobby Day 2009 Begins

VIRTUAL LOBBY DAY ACTION #1
TAKE ACTION
Ask your local media to raise awareness

May 12 is international CFS/CFIDS/ME/FM awareness day. For each of the past 5 years, the CFIDS Association has enlisted help from advocates through its Virtual Lobby Day to contact elected officials, health policy leaders and the media about CFS. Virtual Lobby Day 2009 begins now! Your local media can help spread the word about the impact, severity and prevalence of CFS. Direct them to information resources and ask them to bring greater understanding to the public. Tell your story as an inspiration to reporters to cover the issue. We've added facts and figures to help affirm the effect of CFS on your community.

You can check out all the recent coverage of CFS in the media at http://www.cfids.org/sparkcfs/media-coverage.asp. See how individuals like you, talking about their experiences, help raise awareness and deepen understanding.

Use this simple form to send your comments to CDC. We have intentionally left the main comment area blank so that responses are individualized.

Just click "Take Action," enter your zip code and say as much or as little as you'd like about how CFS has affected your life.
