Mark your calendar for these local events:

“The Faces of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome” national traveling photo exhibit will be on display in the Library Express area of the Atlanta-Fulton County Public Library located at 1 Margaret Mitchell Square, from November 26 to December 1. Head to the library to see the 10 huge banners with portraits of 8 CFS patients and 2 health care professionals who are experts on the illness. Atlanta resident Wilhelmina Jenkins, a woman with CFS, is featured in the exhibit.

Tune in to Liz Talk on WGAU-AM 1340 on Monday morning, November 26, from 9:15 – 9:35 a.m. to hear an interview with CFS patient Wilhelmina Jenkins and Dr. Suzanne Vernon, the CFIDS Association’s new scientific director. They will talk with host Liz Dalton about CFS and the exhibit.

"The Faces of CFS" exhibit moves to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's main campus on Clifton Road (near Emory University) where it will be on display at the Global Health Odyssey in the main Visitor's Center building. The exhibit will be open to the public and CDC employees from December 3 until January 4. (Members of the public are required to show identification and must go through security screening to enter the Visitor's Center.)
