Media interest in CFS continues to build. A research report linking at least a subset of CFS cases to enteroviral infection generated media coverage by network news and online outlets around the world. Here are some upcoming opportunities to catch radio and TV interviews with CFS patients and experts:
- Thursday, September 20: Dr. Cynthia Watson of WatsonWellness in Santa Monica, CA, will be a guest on Los Angeles’ “Baxter in the Morning” radio show on KCAA-AM 1050 at 7:35 a.m. (local time)
- Saturday, September 22 & Sunday, September 23: “The Faces of CFS” photo exhibit participants Brian Bernard and Jackie Niederle and CFS researcher and clinician Dr. Benjamin Natelson will be seen in an episode of “12 To Your Health” on News 12 New Jersey. The show airs each day at 4:30 a.m., 6:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (local time)
- Sunday, September 23: CFS patients Maridel Hoagland and Carol Seiverling and clinician Dr. Larry Sharp will be guests on a segment of “First News Forum,” a public affairs show airing on Fox affiliate KXII Channel 12 in Dallas/Fort Worth at either 6 or 6:30 a.m. (local time)
- Sunday, September 23: Association President & CEO Kimberly McCleary will be a guest on “The Valder Beebe Show,” an Internet radio show originating on KXVI-FM 94.3 in Dallas, TX. Tune in at www.rhythmflowradio.net (New York Sunday Magazine) or listen to the podcast at www.valderbeebeshow.com or www.kxvi.net. The 10-minute interview will air at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern time), 8:00 a.m. (central time) and 6:00 a.m. (Pacific time).
