Two newspaper articles about "The Faces of CFS" in Boston

Advocacy Alert: 7/13/2007

The "Faces of CFS" exhibit will be on display at the central branch of the Boston Public Library at 700 Boylston Street in Copley Square, Boston, from July 16-23. It will be in the Rabb Lecture Hall lobby on the lower level of the Johnson Building. More information about the Central Library, including a map and directions, is available at http://www.bpl.org/central/index.htm.

The CFIDS Association's local media outreach to inform reporters about CFS has generated two excellent newspaper stories in the Boston area.

Upcoming coverage:

  • The Boston Globe will run a news item in its July 16 Health/Science calendar.
  • Kathy Rabin, a Boston-area PWC, participant in the photo exhibit and writer, will be interviewed by George Brown on WTAG-AM 580 radio on Monday morning, July 16, at 8:15 a.m.
Please share this news with area family and friends!

For more information about the exhibit and media generated by the Spark! campaign, please visit http://www.cfids.org/sparkcfs/photo.asp and http://www.cfids.org/sparkcfs/media-coverage.asp.

P.S. Writer Dorothy Wall and former CFSAC member Dr. Ken Friedman authored an editorial that ran in yesterday's Sun-Sentinel (Florida) newspaper. You can read it at http://www.cfids.org/sparkcfs/media-coverage.asp.
