The National Institutes of Health is the world's largest source of support for biomedical research. A tiny fraction of its annual $30 billion annual budget is dedicated to CFS. Contact the director of NIH, Dr. Elias Zerhouni, and urge him to make CFS research a higher priority. New authority from Congress delivered in the NIH Reform Act of 2006 gives him the opportunity to do so.
