Information about the federal government's Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Advisory Committee (CFSAC) has just been updated on the committee's website at http://www.hhs.gov/advcomcfs/index.html. Five new appointees to the committee have been formally announced, and details about the upcoming two-day public meeting in Washington, D.C., on May 16-17 are provided as well. We understand that the public comment period, for which individuals may register to deliver remarks, will take place on Thursday, May 17, although the meeting agenda has not yet been posted. Anyone wishing to deliver remarks of 5 minutes or less should contact the Office of Public Health and Science at (202) 401-7899 by May 11.
Congratulations to the five new appointees and Dr. James Oleske, the new chairman of the CFSAC:
