10NBC Plans Follow-up Story on CFS

Take Action!

Thank the reporter and station today!

On Wednesday, November 8, NBC affiliate WHEC 10News in Rochester, N.Y., aired a remarkable segment about CFS and the awareness campaign press conference held November 3. Reporter Jennifer Johnson attended the event, conducting interviews there and in the local community with CFS patients and expert clinician Dr. David Bell. In the story that aired, Jennifer also shares her own story of having CFS for 5 years beginning in high school when she was an honor student and varsity athlete. It includes highlights from the press event and clips of the public service announcement sent to 800 TV stations across the country.

You can view the 6-minute video at http://www.10nbc.com/index.asp?template=item&story_id=20711

A follow-up story is planned for Wednesday, Nov. 15, in response to the overwhelming feedback the station has received from grateful CFS patients and family members in the local viewing area and across the country. According to Jennifer, it is the most email the station has ever received in response to a single segment. Some of the messages received will be quoted during this follow-up story, with express permission from the authors.

We've arranged a direct way for you to thank Jennifer Johnson and the 10NBC producers for this excellent coverage of CFS. Just click "TAKE ACTION", scroll down and use our form and your message will be sent to Jennifer; maybe you'll be part of the follow-up story!
